I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.”

YouVersion (also known as the Bible App) is a popular, free mobile and web platform that provides digital access to thousands of Bible translations and devotions. I use it all the time and love it! If you haven’t yet, give it a try.

YouVersion keeps track of data on its platform and analyzes it, just like any company, to find out what its users are searching for and how best to deliver content to those users. They reported the most frequently searched for verse in 2025 was Isaiah 41:10, printed above.

I can think of a variety of reasons why people searched for that. Every year we live there are events that happen in our personal lives or externally that fill us with fear. We see these things happening and can easily be dismayed. We can look at all the trouble or uncertainty and feel very weak and powerless when it comes to changing something or fleeing from it.

And that’s not just a 2025 issue, it’s an every year issue.

That’s why Isaiah 41:10 was needed so often by people in 2025. Quite frankly, it has been needed since it was written 2700 years ago. And guess what? We will need it in the future as well.

Isaiah 41:10 provides the assurance from God he provides strength. He is our strength in every aspect of life. He upholds us with his powerful right hand, the power of his saving grace. God is with us in all aspects and areas of our life. He is with us in our pilgrimage through this world. He will guide us through it all, providing strength when we are weak and certainty when we feel powerless. We can rely on him because in his grace and mercy he saved us from our sins. He promises an end to the evil in our life and world. The perfection of eternal life in heaven belongs to us because of the resurrection of our Savior.

Isaiah 41:10 is a great verse to help us through 2026. It’s an excellent verse to guide us throughout our whole life.
